The Intervin International Wine Awards

The Intervin International Wine Awards is designed to celebrate the very best wines available to Canadian consumers. The goal is to help winemakers attain recognition and celebrate their outstanding achievements.

Wines are judge in groups determined by the varietal or style in blind testing. The panel of judges includes wine industry professionals from diverse backgrounds, including winemaking, education, media and hospitality. Gold, silver and honours awards are given in each category.

The awards began in 2010 and have recognized winemakers and brands from around the globe. This year's judging took place August 9-11 at White Oaks Resort & Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
